Description
I took forever to finish this, mostly because I've been so busy with school winding up and all of that. I really learned a lot working on it. I tried out a new way of making shadows and highlights (thanks to the folks at Aywas!!), and tried out a new technique to make the feathers on her wings. I like how she turned out, but I don't think I'm going to win, I could still use a lot of improvement.The line art for this picture was made by , the winner of the #color-me-club line art contest last month.

Thanks so much! I wasn't sure how to make the metal look old, so I looked up a tutorial for making a rust texture in photoshop and then just winged it from there, changing visibility and filters until I liked how it looked.

Thanks! It was kind of an on the spot idea, I used the wind filter in different directions to try to make it look like a feather, and then I mostly copied and pasted a whole lot. It took a while and there is probably an easier way, but I like how it turned out. ^^
