Description Unanimous
2000
Grey (black base)
Swedish Warmblood
Stallion
Repainted G2 Breyer Warmblood Stablemate

Sire: Unabridged
Dam: Astounding

Bred by Twin Springs Stables/Randa Garrett

FFC 2005 (I retain the first years breedings for personal use so all of my studs are open to outside breedings as a 5 year old)

When I was photo showing he had been a Photo Show Champion but it's been a few years since then. ***NOTE*** Unanimous is again a Photo Show Grand Champion and multi Champ/Res. Champion in WB/SH as well. I'm currently showing him in a Facebook group/club named MHU: Mini Showers Annonymous.

Update March 2013: MHU: Mini Showers Anonymous 2012 Top Tens: 1st in AR/CM Stallions, 2nd in Overall AR/CM Color, 1st in AR/CM Warmblood/Sport Horse and 1st in Overal Top Ten AR/CM

My model horse website can be found here: [link]

This is a Breyer G2 Warmblood Stablemate painted by me several years ago. He's handpainted in oils (as are nearly all my custom models) with eyes, hooves and markings done in acrylics.

Such a pretty boy!  Might have to breed another mare to him.  Lol.  I know I've used him at least once already. *snickers*

Thank you.

I fell into using oils when I was a teen because it was the medium I had available to me most often (two family members oil painted).

Thank you. What I have uploaded is only a drop in the bucket to what I have painted but unfortunately I do not have pictures of many of them.

-nudge nudge- i vote you take some!

what types of brushes, etc do you use? I've only painted a few so far, but really want to start getting really into it

I take pictures outside and wont be taking more until spring.

Brushes? Whatever I have the money for when I need to go pick up new ones. The base coat color is done in oil paints so it has to be something I can use with oils. I use all different sizes/types. I don't have my brushes in front of me (I usually paint at my sisters so my things are there at the moment) to see what I currently have in my supplies. I even use makeup sponges during the painting process.

ooh, understandable- its cooold here too

I need some good ones too Make-up sponges are a good idea! I should try that! Do you do all your models without an airbrush?

I don't use an airbrush. They're all painted by hand in oil paints then I hand paint the eyes, markings and hooves in acrylics.

wow, a lot of yours have such smooth transitions in color!! jealous of your skill!

but it shows i can hope to become as awesome as you, without spending lots on an airbrush!

It's why I love using oil paints. Granted, their drying time is a draw back but they're so nice to get smooth blending on.

I spent the money on an airbrush and don't use it. Have even sold the compressor now.

And thank you. I am no where near a pro at it, I just paint what I like.
