Description
I'm not 100% sure on this, but the closest bird that seems to fit is the Savannah sparrow, beautiful little guy, love the small smidge of yellow on his cheeks.Related content

what I thought, I have a site I can use to identify some birds, but it's a bit off in some of it's choices :>

It's good for a fair amount of species, but been quiet a few over the months it's had trouble with. Seagulls, those ducks from yesterday.

www.whatbird.com/ this one, it's pretty good, main issue is just criteria for certain things, like primary location/secondary. if I see a bird I'm not sure if it's going through or not, and if I chose primary loation for British columbia, will it show a bird that is just migrating through?. Second is colours and such, I can't quiet get it to chose say a colour that only shows on the wing some times, as the colour/pattern locations are head/chest/back and such.

Ah...o.o Never really used sites, but it sounds pretty good.
There is, however, a number of British Columbia (and also just Vancouver) birding sites. Have you tried those out?

well I've looked through a few, I have that one that lists all local birds, which is handy to see if one you or someone else mention is local :>
