Top notch composition, colour, contrast and rhythm. The idea of layers or bands as a compositional device is one that I came across a few years ago when studying some contemporary Scottish art. You can perceive the image "as is" - a 'scape, or you can see it as an abstraction. I wonder what the image would look like if you elongated it in the horizontal plane?

Hmmm not sure, but it was really neat, I'm hoping for some cool fog this year, last year I got a ton of great shots.
