Is this on one of the Gulf Islands or something? I don't recognize the view, but in general the birds and vegetation of your shots are very familiar to me, and I am originally from the north end of Vancouver Island.

I'm on the coast, but close this is from Powell River, directly across from Comox looking in that direction, I think the sign to the left of the sun is where comox is :>

Ah, I see! I was in Powell River about ten years ago for a summer music program, but I didn't have much chance to look around. It is quite beautiful, and you capture it very well.
