I think the main thing weighing on me right now is that my school board decided not to give me Art 2 this year. And if I don't take Art 2, I won't get into Studio Art the following year. I know I'll eventually get into it (my art teacher would yell at the counselors until they put me in it), but I stress rather easily.

Definitely been there with the crank-out-five-in-a-day thing.

Oh gah, I've been there. When I was in high school, my parents would get annoyed if I were in the "average" art classes when I signed up for "studio art" "photography" and other "upper classmen" classes.
But I was taking advanced studio art when I was a junior, and I took pottery when I was a freshman...surrounded by seniors O_o... so I didn't really get "screwed" with art classes in HS fortunatly.
Why on earth would the school board possibly not give a certain art class to you? Too many academic classes and can't fit? If so, that is a ton of stress too... wow! Either wya, I hope that turns out well for you...I'd rather take an art class then a moth class...I wish HS could have ONLY been art and music and no academics ...arsty dreaming XD

Unfortunately in my school art is generally something that people take just to get the credits, and the counselors that assign the classes assume this for everyone who wishes to take it. Dx They way our scheduling works, we sign up for classes we want and then are forced to choose an "alternate" alongside that class. In other words, the only classes you're guranteed are any AP/college classes, band, orchestra, language, or math classes.

Boo to the non-art-lovin' world.
