Not really. They're actually rather easy to handle and blend. There's so many different techniques you can use with them too, depending on what kind of coloring job you want. Just play around with them and you can get some interesting results purely by accident. :3

yeah I try to bring that out in him with the "facial expressions" he gives. I try to do things with drawings of him to evoke enough feeling to give you a sense of some kind of look on his face.
