Just saw this on the news. You took a better picture.
The best we had was a hot air balloon that came down in the neighbor’s pool Saturday morning. The result was one minor injury, minor damage to the envelop when it deflated over the roof of the house, the loss of a satellite dish and a lot of wet wicker. True story, unfortunately.

I was away, and the balloon incident was over and cleared away before I knew about it. I would have liked to have seen that mess. At least your work results in some amazing photos.
Last summer during the Bear Lake Fire I was ‘politely volunteered’ to drive the LTPA 8x8 military fire truck that the Air Force had donated to the Mescalero Apache Tribe about this time last year, running 4 nights from about 10 at night until the next morning to help cover while the aerial tankers were unable to fly. It was very surreal, driving that beast back and forth through a burning forest in the darkness. And a little spooky, since the LTPA is so automated that I was running it alone. AND I HAD NO WAY TO TAKE PICTURES!
