Description
This is a creature I started in my creature design class at Gnomon, but never finished. After working on it today, I feel itβs done.The original assignment was to create a humanoid creature, which would occupy a dark earth-like planet. The idea was to use nightmarish natural/organic/animal references to create something that could evolve on another planet, like earth.
My references were scorpions, various insects and the yeti crab

Awesome.
Unlike kawaii spider-girls and the anatomically compromised striders, this looks *plausible*.
Especially the legs, which look as if they could bear weight and cover ground in a hurry.
IMHO, those tufts of fur are just perfect...
May I use this alien, duly attributed, in a TF fantasy tale ??
