How do i even start this.

First, this is both a sketch and i guess finished piece, originally it was just that small collection of sketches on the bottom left but i felt that it would be pretty cool to submit the sketches and the colored stuff together for you guys cause well, i hardly post sketches here haha

Anywho I wanted to draw Gallow a different style, nothing official but just something fun to mess around with.
Soooo.....what style to go with? Don Bluth, yup yup, as in the same talent behind stuff like The Land Before Time, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and probably my favorite, The Secret of Nimh.
ESPECIALLY NIMH
I used Jeremy from that movie as my main reference(i guess it should be obvious from how similar he looks)
Hm, i would say that i guess i got the style a bit, still something to mess around with(and heck it was fun tbh)
I can say that i somehow got it, its nothing spot on but its close, really i would not mind to try this style even more~

Oh and here is another fun fact since we are on the subject, i think i did mention it before how Jeremy played a bit of a role for the the idea of Gallow, not on being a crow coincidentally but the quirkiness.
Yup, i like to thank Jeremy for that i love that crow <3

But yeah, i guess you guys now know on another thing that inspired Gallow haha

Oh man this also brings me back to my younger years, especially art class in high school
Have i ever told yall how much i would draw crows in class? Cause i sure did, heck many of my major pieces involved crows haha! So you can say that i been drawing birds for awhile. Dont think it was in a cartoony style, i am talking about straight out crows haha so this felt like the good ol days urhurrr

I like to think that this Gallow is some AU version haha
He is just a crow that lives close to the beach where he goes on about collecting whatever he finds ashore or at the docks. His most cherished item is probably the one he wears around, word is it belonged to a certain blue gal, he claims that she must have been some kinda magical fairy angel of sort that he met one night before she got nabbed, yatta yatta love struck crow that everyone at the beach just calls crazy, allot say it was just some damsel fly as well and not some fairy as he puts it, but still, Gallow is Gallow.
Anyways he is now on a little adventure of sort to rescue her~ Along his journey to rescue her our crow comes across various obstacles that come along the way, as well as meeting quite the colorful cast of characters that will help em some(looks at every character other Gallow has RPd with e v e)
Who knows what awaits him at the end of his journey, one thing is for sure though is that it will be worth it~ No matter what crazy madness is thrown at him he will for sure complete his little lovely journey to rescue her
