Description A large Treebeard paper cutout I've been working on since last fall (I think I drew the original sketch back in September).

The dimensions of the frame are 22 inches by 15 inches and about 8 inches deep.

I couldn't snap a very good picture because it has plexiglass across the front and was reflecting everything in my room. Hope you all enjoy it! Eventually I'm going to post some of the progress pictures on my blog, but as of right now I'm just happy to be done with this thing!

Edit (5/20): Just got on my computer after a hiatus of a couple of days. WOW! Lots of goings ons.

Thank you all for the DD! After the zillion hours of work I put into this thing it feels really good to know that people enjoy it so much. I apologize that I can't thank you all individually for the barrage of favorites too, but I don't have quite that much free time. Thank you all anyway though (if by some chance you happen to be reading this).

Thanks very much! This one was quite the undertaking. Even though I did it a few years ago, I still have it displayed in a conspicuous corner of my flat.Β

Thanks! I am still really proud of this project, even all of these years later. It would be really fun to do another really large piece like this, but I haven't come up with any ideas yet.

i hope you do make another and share! Β i'm just playing around with paper lately myself and having a lot of fun, but i'm not sure i'm ready to take on something that detailed and impressive. Β Β

I have been into making really small stuff with paper lately. Little ornaments, and now I'm making some little bookmarks. Sometimes the larger stuff has more of a "wow" factor, but I really like working on small figures, etc.Β

yeah, i saw your awesome Krampus ornament! Β The treebeard one is just so impressive because you can see all the many many layers and the degree of depth gives it so much atmosphere

You're welcome! I have always liked LOTR and Treebeard was a favorite in the movies. You did a great job with the piece.

Thanks! I think the whole thing is probably about 6-8 inches deep. I'll have to take a stereoscopic photo of it sometime to show of the 3D.
