Had this one in the can for a while, thought it was time to post it. I did this one before I redesigned the characters costume so you can see that here.check out my gallery for other pics of this character and his origin story.

Am I correct in guessing that artist Scott McDaniel (from Nightwing's second series) has influenced your style?

from a perspective standpoint I have been looking at his work for years, his Curvilinear or (5-point) perspective is something I practice on all the time and I am still no where near his ability on it.

I can see that, I really wanted to show off the parkour/ free running background of this character and make it as dramatic as possible

Parkour is a wonderfully active sort of martial arts...witness Darth Maul...Ray Parker (not a typo) is a master! So it does really fit with the character. Are you going to color this one or have it colored? It would be very interesting to see it in color and see what color does for a finished piece.

no, I have no plans on coloring this one. It was a 'quick, lets get this drawn so it can get out of you head' kinda deal
