Well this is one of the sdie products of my LD16 effort. Was thinking on making those planets, moons and suns textured in such way but it was too laggy for all that rotation and zooming in Age of Exploration . So in wasted that time I could have used polishing game more... There are few other things that were too laggy for a game too. Will write postmortem tomorrow with all that mentioned.You can change quality of circle drawing using that numeric stepper.

Well it is a way of turning linear texture in radial one You can see texture above and this thing kind of bends it

I think this kind of texture warping is good for making platformers. I've seen a few actual games taking place on spherical stages.

Yeah seen some too. I think there should be better ways to texture things non linear.

textures would have been cool. you should experiment some more and build age of exploration bigger and better. its so addictive

Well I do plan to work on it at least a little bit more. Don't know about big version tough.
