Beautiful composition, great colours, you should have used a narrower aperture (bigger f number) to gain more DOF

I like this! It's hard to tell if your focus is perfect at this size, but it looks like it is.

Thanks John.
What do you mean by size, too big or too small to tell?

TTL-Photoworks In reply to wonenownlee [2008-10-26 00:50:10 +0000 UTC]

The view is too small to really see detail. I know, i know, my views are small now, too.

OK, I edited them to a larger size, if you care to take another look.
The difference between computers, size of monitors, etc really leaves at a loss!
The focus on my computer is incredible and they are as large as can be! Go figure

That thing in the middle is really awesome looking. If i had that flower, I'd use my macro lens and make it HUGE!

Good find!

Thanks
Did it show up better at 800? What do you use to submit?
I have 3 other shots and one is very different, so I'll post that one soon too.
I thought it was pretty amazing too!

I'm using 800 for landscapes and 600 or 400 for portrait aspect. I really like to show them bigger but then I need a watermark and everyone complains.

So you would use 600 for the flowers. Do all the flowers that people post come across small? Did it help when I reloaded at 800?

Just do whatever you want. The bigger the better for purposes of just viewing. I would set it to 800 for portrait oriented photos, and 1024 for landscape if I didn't have to worry about people downloading them and calling it their own.

See, if I did 1024 it would be off my monitor! I'd have to scan from end to end to see it. I'm not worried about anyone stealing my stuff
