Another lunchbreak sketch. I will need to fix her face and hair, they look a bit smooshed to me...I am terrified of ruining this, although I have a very good idea of how I want to color it. I feel more comfortable with the idea of traditional media for this one, although my usual colored pencils won't give me the look I know I want. Guess I have to bite the bullet and jump on the art marker bandwagon.
Suggestions on good brands for a novice? I use PrismaColor pencils but I don't know how their markers are.

Well this is quite cute!
For suggestions for markers: Prismacolors are wonderful, but they take quite a bit of practice, and they bleed all over your paper.

I was thinking of how much the texture of the paper would show with pencils, but I suppose it really does depend on the texture of the paper I use for the final piece. Dur.
