Description Trying to combine two of my biggest interests of the ltest years, the DCAU animation style and Dresden Files.

This is an attempt to render Harry Dresden as he migh look in the DCAU. I know that Harry's muscular defintion isn't that good, but this was all I coould muster.

UPDATE: After many attempts I decided to poist a new version of this. I redesigned the duster to make it a bit longer, I found a decent way to make Harry look less muscular and completly redisigned the face and many other details.

I've been stuck to n°9 for a while now. I'm reading Honor Harrington at the moment.

So and so. The setting is very nice, but the main character is very Mary-Sueish, not in a bad way though.

You definitely got the style of the DCAU right. Some ideas to make it look more like Harry, though: Narrower shoulders you've already mentioned, but there are some others. The duster should be bigger, more 'billow-y'. I'd look at the comics for a good reference, or even the book covers. The hair could use a little work too.

Still, I love the idea, and this has some major potential. Any plans for more characters from the Dresden Files in this style?

Firat of all thanks for the compliments.
I'm working on some modifcation on the image, but so far I've not accomplished much. I tried to narrow the shoulders a little, but the overall effect isn't that great. About the duster I' having a bit more luck, see the character editor I use to obtain the base picks has a "jedi's bathrobe" element, which I think I can use to help redesign the duster. About the hair... if you have any suggestion please let me know (I admit I used the TV version of harry for that).

I don't know if I'll do any more Dresden Files characters, I've igven a shot to Murphy, but the result was very underwhelming.

Some of the villains might be easier to do. The Skinwalker especially, since it doesn't have human proportions in its humanoid form (Arms were described as way too long, going past the knees if memory serves.)

As for the hair, just do a google image search for "Dresden Files comic" and you should come up with enough stuff.
