My entry for Silvixen 's contest, depicting my character and one of her characters participating in a end-of-year tradition. And here it is--target practice! At the end of each year, my brother and dad and I usually go up to a patch of wilderness a few miles from home to a makeshift range and shoot to our hearts content. We usually bring an old Winchester rifle (that's what Tsula, the cross fox, has) but when Kita heard the words 'target practice' she decided to bring a bow and arrow, since she is an archer fox!CREDITS

I used brushes from redheadstock (wooflesart.deviantart.com/art/… ) and Rahll (wooflesart.deviantart.com/art/… ) because I'm a lazy bum and can't seem to figure out how to do backgrounds myself. Psssh, I suck at digital backgrounds.
Tsula belongs to me, Kita belongs to Silvixen.

Squee! I must say I did a bit of shooting last end of year myself. While I did take the bow I was afraid of losing arrows in the dry grass so rifle it was.
This is very well done and an excellent choice of brushes.

Shooting is a very nice way to end the year indeed! Unfortunately I didn't get to do it this year because our family's Winchester is at a shop for repairs.

Yeah, anthros are tough for me to do, so I rarely do them! I do have one more to post soon though, I think you'll like it. :3 Their anatomy is so hard, I found the chest is especially difficult to do--I can't draw boobies for the life of me!

Cool! I am super impressed with the clothes. Clothing wrinkles are a pain to do.
I can't tell if there are shadows under their feet, but having grass over their feet helps make it look like they're not floating.

Aaah, I forgot to put their shadows on the ground! that would have helped. But yeah at least I remembered to put grass over their feet! I didn't like their feet that much anyways. LOL.

Great job on the clothes with all the wrinkles and folds, must have been hard...
The pose of the bodies looks very good, so natural! Same for the proportions.
I must say, I like the lineart of Kita better, it's thinner and more delicate, it fits the whole style of the piece better.

Thanks! Anthros are haaaaard. For me they are, anyways! Yeah, I like the Kita line art better, but it took the better part of a day to do just the lines, and I didn't have the patience do it all over again for Tsula, so I used a different method for hers. They don't look too good together, the digital line art taxes my patience (and my wrist!) too much.

Thank you! Too bad I don't have much patience when it comes to digital work, lol. I feel like I could do much better...but when doing digital the screen hurts my eyes and I unconsciously grip the pen too hard and hurt my wrist. I lose patience and do things as fast as possible.
