Description
So as of today my curent favorite starter is Popplio. Something about his dorkiness just got to me, agghh.Something may be owed to the hipster effect though, I'm the type of person that will like a starter just because no one else does (Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Mudkip, and Chespin all fall into this category for me, haha).
Though final evolutions will be the main ticket, I still like Popplio in its current form <3

I am on team Popplio as well, not really because it isn't loved as much as the other two, but because his discription from Pokemon and his actions so far remind me of my dog.
Plus, I seem to always end up on the water starter team. I always end up starting with them on my first journey (starting with Gold, as I was still to young for R/B/Y), even if my favorite starter isn't water (Chikorita and Fennekin to name a couple).

This might sounds super cheesy, but around two weeks ago I had a dream that the water starter would be based on a circus seal, and seeing it become an actual thing was kinda spooky. So I suppose that's another reason why I like it, haha.
Plus, seeing how Alola is Hawaii-based, a water starter is probably a given for me.

I'm on Team Litten atm, because of a personal policy regarding always taking the fire-type starter, but that is subject to change based on the final evos.

My pick is Rowlet because it's a cute little owl pokemon ! Is my choice bias? Yes, isn't many other people's choices bias?

I guess it's not completely disliked, and really I don't think any of the ones I mentioned are, but I've seen many more people use Torchic and Treeko over Mudkip :I
Rowlet is adorable as well! Really all three of the Sun/Moon starters are adorable, I would pick all three if I could <3
