EDIT 2: hi besties, just wanted to hop in years later to mention that this art was in fact traced! At the time I was still trying to find my art style, and while I largely would only heavily reference pieces, this is one that I actually directly traced from. They're very talented, and while I didn't end up going this direction with my art style in the end, they were still inspirational. In the meantime I've scrubbed this from most of my galleries on DA to lower the chance of it getting caught up in my original art, but decided against outright deleting it since I think this message is a good learning experience.

But seriously, this little guy officially has earned a spot on my team next to Popplio. I don't even need a final evolution for this guy, I might just take him to the Elite Four as-is <3

EDIT: Gave him a transparent background, the other one kinda made him blend in.
