Description

Wall.e landed on a docking strut with a loud thud. The impact knocked the air out of her lungs, and she was left lying flat on her back, staring up at the ceiling as she caught her breath. Wall.e got up to find herself facing a row of decontamination pods, each with an E.v.e. probe inside it. The images gleaned from her overseer were right: the pods really did look like giant transparent eggs. Wall.e scanned the E.v.e. probes lined up in front of her for her girlfriend, and spotted her on the far right of the row. She was easy to distinguish from the others due to having the flashing green light on her chest armor- almost right over her heart. Wall.e also noticed that she was pretty much the only E.v.e. probe with black fur, which made distinguishing her from the others even easier. Wall.e then looked away from E.v.e., and spotted a robotic arm reaching into one of the pods. It pulled out an E.v.e. probe, and then carried it down from the rack, past a scauldron which was busy refueling the probe ship, and dropped it under a UV light. The robotic arm apparently had some trouble holding on to the E.v.e. probe, as it lost its grip and briefly dropped the probe on the floor a few feet away from the light, and hurriedly picked it back up and shoved it under the light. It came back with a coating of slime on its claw, and pulled the next E.v.e. probe out of its decontamination pod, struggling to maintain its grip on the second E.v.e. probe it pulled from a dectontamination pod. This time, the arm accidentally dropped the probe in a manner which caused it to end up floating sideways instead of right side up. Walle. got an idea as she watched the arm move back towards the decontamination pods.

When the third probe was retrieved, Wall.e hopped onto the arm a few feet above the claw, and rode the arm down. She hopped off just before the robotic arm accidentally deposited the third E.v.e. probe upside down. Wall.e then turned around and watched as the robotic arm rode its track back up to the pods, grabbed a fourth E.v.e. probe, and deposited that probe facing the doors behind Wall.e. A fifth E.v.e. probe was delivered to the UV light sideways, and Wall.e watched with baited breath as the robotic arm went to retrieve her girlfriend. Wall.e almost screamed when the robotic arm nearly dropped E.v.e. as it pulled her out of the decontamination pod, catching her just before she fell several dozen meters to the deck below. Then, the arm almost dropped E.v.e. again halfway down, and finally unceremoniously dumped her under the UV light. At this moment, a set of cleaner dragons lead by an unfamilar Slugcat arrived on the scene. This Slugcat was all black in color, with dazzling white armor, and a blue roller where its hands would have been. The acronym "MO" was emblazioned on the side of its helmet whereas Wall.e and E.v.e. had theirs on their upper left arms. Wall.e watched with curiousity as MO lead his motley crew in the important task of cleaning the E.v.e. probes of any remaining foreign contamination. MO then turned away from the E.v.e. probes- and headed straight for Wall.e. Almost immediately, he remarked to Wall.e, [100 % Foreign Contaminant? Not on my watch!], then he turned around, and hollered, [Hey, fellas! We've got an absolutely filthy Wall.e unit over here!] The entire squadron of cleaner dragons started making their way over to Wall.e, and MO got to work scrubbing Wall.e down. He was joined by a Hideous Zippleback with the acronym "VAQ-M" emblazoned on its foreleg, which began sucking up the loose dust and dirt with both heads. A smaller scauldron with the acronym "SPRAY-R" appeared and began spraying generous amounts of water all over Wall.e, washing off even more dirt and dust. Wall.e found herself wondering how so much dirt had gotten all over her in the first place, and how she'd failed to notice. Then, a Triple Stryke with a set of UV lights in place of stingers, and the acronym "DECONTAMINATE-R" appeared, and whirled the UV Lights around Wall.e, who closed her eyes as they sterilized her. MO then noticed the rest of the slugcats and the overseers, which were also completely covered in "Foreign Contaminant.", and ordered the rest of the cleaners to get them cleaned up and sterilized while he inspected Wall.e for any remaining dirt. MO then noticed the dirt trail on the floor, and scrubbed it off the floor, quipping something about needing to clean the undersides of Wall.e's boots. Wall.e then lifted one of her feet off the floor, and wondered what MO would do if the dirt was on him. In one swift motion, Wall.e wiped a smear of dirt onto MO's helmet. MO screamed and began frantically scrubbing the dirt off his face. Wall.e took advantage of the distraction to run and hide.

The doors opened behind Wall.e, and an unfamiliar, roughly heart shaped robot floated into the room. This robot, GO-4, flew straight towards the live of waiting E.v.e. probes and Wall.e, who was now standing under the UV light pretending to be one of them. GO-4 approached the E.v.e. probe on the right. Wall.e heard him mutter as he scanned the lined up probes, [AX 05: Negative... AX 04: Negative... AX 03: Negative... 18138: Negative... wait, 18138?] Wall.e ran and hid behind E.v.e. as GO-4 checked her previous hiding place to make sure that he really had just scanned a Wall.e unit by accident. When the hiding spot turned up empty, GO-4 looked around, confused, and then spotted Wall.e hiding behind E.v.e., and his epaulets popped up as if he was shrugging. GO-4 then returned to scanning, muttering, [AX 02: Negative... AX 01: ...POSITIVE?!?] At GO-4s shout, an alarm started blaring, and all of the lights in the docking port turned green. A hovercart suddenly appeared, and GO-4 commanded a nearby robotic arm, [Lift E.v.e. Probe AX 01 onto the cart and strap her down!] He then hopped onto the front of the cart as the robotic arm obeyed, quipping, [A Wall.e unit and a positive E.v.e. probe! The captain needs to see this!] Wall.e lunged at the cart as it started to move, and ended up landing on the back of it, shouting, "E.V.A.!" in a panic. MO started shooing the dragons away from the probe ship, and Wall.e's slugcats all began running towards the door. The cart began to accelerate, the Spearmaster and the Rivulet jumping onto it. The cart and the contingent of slugcats reached the door, and the rest of the slugcats hopped onto the cart in quick succession, as Wall.e fell off the back and started running after the cart. GO-4 turned around, bewildered at the cart suddenly shaking, and was surprised to see eight slugcats on the cart, and a very alarmed Wall.e chasing the cart, shouting "E.V.A.!" at the tops of her lungs. Wall.e chased the cart all the way to the elevator.
