Description
Shadow was at the time of their creation, a unique concept- a steed for an iterator puppet. Looks To The Moon created them with the intention of riding them as a means of traveling outside her can- especially covering long distances. They wound up growing larger than most Furies- with a bulky, muscular build which makes them slow to accelerate/decellerate, and impedes their agility slightly, but allows them to make up for it with phenomenal top flying speeds and stamina. Additionally, their wings, pelvic wings, and tail wings are reinforced to allow them to fly faster and with less effort. Their rare trait is a rather interesting one- they have large gray patches where most Night Furies vary from dark blue/purple to black in color, and/or are white (or at least have white patches.) Their plasma blast is able to reflect off of most surfaces and explodes into a shower of sparks on detonation, making it good at scaring off would be attackers but otherwise useless for self defense. They are not known to have any purpose aside from being a rideable dragon, although it seems that Moon is considering training them to carry messages in the event that her other messengers get incapacitated or otherwise rendered unable to deliver their messages. They tend to be averse to interacting with animals and/or iterators that they don't know, and prefer to be curled up next to Moon as she works... or exploring with Ruffles/keeping an eye on her (not always an easy task considering that Ruffles is an atheletic genki girl of a slug cat...) Their saddle was specifically designed to allow an iterator puppet to ride them as opposed to having some secondary purpose such as a storage container or messenger bag.
