Wait a second....he's a military and doesn't know how to survive by his own....? Does he have some sort of...problem? Cuz he can defend himself, but I guess he can't take care of himself? Β (I'm not trying to be rude, just want to know a bit more about him, and sorry for my poor English too.)

Has problems surviving by himself in open places such as forests, desserts, islands, etc. He always have a team to back him up, but since he's focused so much in other aspects he forgot the essential,Β survival.
But he's pretty able to defend himself from anything that attacks him or try to kill him

Yeah but still...it's not that easy to survive alone in such places, even the high military have their difficults. Of course some of them might do better than the other ones, but I don't see that as some sort "urgent problem".Β
