I thought this too,but i feel it's just coincidence. Althought Ember's markings do look a lot like Cynder's.

I can see her (mlp ember) personality being like Cynder's and her body type may be a blend of both of them. It wouldn't be beyond reason that she is a shoutout to the Spyro community.

It's not only this, The Sorceress in Spyro 3 Year of the Dragon, is blue, and have a specter like this. The attittude of Ember is truly similar of the one of Cynder in DOTD, the name "Ember" is the same name than the pink dragoness from Spyro A Hero's Tail who is called "Ember" too. But whatever both of us have their own theories that doesnt mean they are truth.

Maybe...but don't forget that one or two significant groups of the people at one of the Hasbro toy factories or one the animation studios may have never heard of the pink Ember, due to how unfortunately unpopular the Spyro franchise by itself has become. On the off chance that it is a reference, then I guess we can say that Hasbro or whoever conceived this Ember has some kind of affection for the Spyro series and maybe even wishes that other companies treated the series better than pretty much everyone did following the PS1 days. Maybe Hasbro themselves wants to do something with Spyro, but since they're not really a video game company, it's just my guess.

Spyro is always a popular franchise and an iconic character in the video games and specifically including Sony, in the first PS1, with Crash he contributed to the success of Sony on trade in video games. It is one of the first games to use a gameplay with open area in a 3D platform game, it is one of the few characters to be inter-generation, it is constantly evolved recently as Skylanders where he contributed much to the success.
And evolve even after he is always introduced to a new generation of gamers first with the classic series with a childish fantasy universe is usually not too hard, then the Legend trilogy with a dark universe, atmosphere and a darker story, more mature and convincing a wider audience Skylanders. The problem is that young kids today do not know that for most than Spyro is from Skylanders but actually it is Skylanders who was from Spyro, . Activision has managed to use his popularity for making Skylanders popular, I do not hate the fans of Skylanders, but the fact that they thinks Spyro is popular cause Skylanders or they think he was created by in this series. I dont like Skylanders (I played the games) they are fun, but I dont like what Activision do to him, and not only with his design but with they used him and now just abandoned him in the series like a waste even he was still the main protagonist in most of the Skylanders comics, and in the Skylanders Academy TV show. But still he is used to be a popular video game character, and I'm scared than Activision, will do the same thing with Crash Bandicoot because even they make a remaster of the three first game in PS1 that doesnt mean they dont put him in Skylanders for sometime. Because it is only a partnership with Sony. Sony still dont owns Crash Bandicoot.
In terms of Ember in MLP, it has the same name as the character of Spyro A Hero's Tail is a pink strap, the same face as Cynder in the Legend trilogy and the same color as The Sorceress of the third installment of the series classic, also with a scepter like it.

Look, I already knew that, so I became displeased when you mentioned the franchise he's in now. I really didn't want to talk about that because I'm pretty sure you and I both know too many of the sins behind that franchise and the sins of what its owner is now exposing with CoD. Hell, look at Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. Look at the influence of Destiny's development. Look at the CoD YouTubers who started those CS:GO gambling websites they got sued over. Look at how those same YTers have been promoting CoD content the game company paid them to promote, but how the company doesn't stop them when they fail to disclose that they've been paid, either in physical cash values or CoD points for Supply Drops, which is gambling in and of itself.
With all due respect to you, I won't stop you from getting Crash Remastered if you want it, but I've been boycotting that company for over 3 and a half years now. I'm sorry if I'm rude, but I'm not about to break that streak with the Crash Remaster.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing, listen I spent a day more than bad day or I have not stopped getting angry sometimes for silly reasons, now I'm desperate and someone a desperate is worse than an angry person. Activision is the worst company that can existed, Destiny is an extremely mediocre game and repudiated by most of the players. COD is the same for years, the license manages to do always as much selling because it has a good advertising campaign and still many children and young teens who play, they are not passionate in making video games, c is only the lure of money that determines them to continue. The games are almost never change, instead they regress
Even with millions of dislikes on trailers and other videos license always sell much because young people are naive, easy to manipulate and convince worse I've seen violent scenes fanboy reached fanatism of the Paris Games Week one of the biggest exhibitions of video games in the world with E3 and Gamescom in Germany, when Activision announced that the first 400 to enter the enclosure of the building recevrer a free copy of Call of Duty Ghost himself was the riot, people are hitting, pushing and girl nearly died, all this to be one of the worst COD, it is not entirely the fault of Activision since he could not predict that intense reaction and hyper Hover fans, but they are partly responsible for the excessive fanaticism of those people who always has them since MW2 a stupid teenagers without education community. This company (Activision) not worth fighting, it is a cancer to video games. What I say about Skylanders is not just my opinion based on my knowledge / experience in video games, I denounce the facts and I do not pretend based these facts with only my opinion it is clear to see and I demonstrates that Activision has Spyro, Crash and what they are doing video games
Some YouTubers are also videos on COD to become famous, because they know that this series creates a craze still going strong, this license dripping me and more me this company. Let us not forget that with EA, Activision popularized microtransactions and DLC, which are to steal money from the fans. kit games.
Clearly I dont know if you are agree with me or not.

A woman nearly died over a rioting against CoD? I'd like to see an article where you got that information from, but I will say that it is very scary, to say the least. I myself had fantasies over myself either killing Bobby Kotick or destroying their headquarters, but I know that's illegal, so there's a 99% chance that I won't do it.
To some degree, they try to flip the style of gameplay with every new CoD these days, but they do it so often that it barely ever gives us time to accept it, and that's why we hate it so often, and that's why there's those 3 million dislikes on the Infinite Warfare reveal trailer. I very much will not support that game or any other game from its parent company if they keep slapping us like this, because not only is this practice unwarranted, but it beseeches the name. "Call of Duty" was a game that made players feel like their "Duty" has been worth "Calling" for in the times of utter need, and the original games put an emphasis of making them feel like if they didn't stick to their Duty, then their "Call of Duty" has been lost to vile hands that would have changed the world to a very grim hell. The newer ones, while more asthetically colorful, don't make it feel as just, since its newer scenarios rather make the game a fight for easy-felt glory rather than a devastating match through hell to rid evil. The evil in the modern games can hardly even be taken seriously.
But that's my opinion. Oh, and FYI, I believe that the validation of micro transactions becoming popular actually belongs to Gameloft, because after they made the original Dragon Mania and made Dungeon Hunter 3 free to play (the latter of which was part of a very popular mobile game franchise that used to require payments), that's when publishers thought it was a good idea to do micro transactions. For the rest of your points, I agree.

DLCs for games like Dragon Mania Legends, Dragon City, Monster Legends Clash of Clans .... free games are created for casual players, they are usually free to play so it is not surprising to find the paid content as are generally studios with little money who do this kind of game. if not big companies like Activision.
In the incident of the Paris Games Week here's the video. (If you do not understand I can translate)
