Don't get me wrong...Minecraft is great for creative building freedom and making rollarcoasters.But Terraria has:
• more resources
• more rare treasures to find
• more minerals to mine
• more various NPCs to gain
• more various monsters (not just zombies and skeletons...But bats, flying eyeballs, goblins, various slimes, werewolves, giant worms, Corrupt bunnies/Goldfish, "face monsters," unicorns, antlions, vultures, piranhas, venus flytraps, jellyfish, and even flying fish. Yep...Even fucking FLYING FISH are monsters/enemies.)
• more crafting receipes
• more various bosses to beat
• GUNS
• METEORITE MINING FUCK YEEEEAAAAAH
• more various biomes (ice/jungle/desert biomes UNDEGROUND.)
• hordes of enemies that can spawn during certain points of the game ("Blood Moon" is great to collect a lot of money and "Goblin Invasion"/"Pirate Invasion"/"Frost Legion" are a challenge to beat)
...And it's only $10 and doesn't fuck with my cave-phobia!
www.terraria.org/ The only con I have with it is that it's only for PC right now, which means I can't install any mods on it, as I'm using a cracked version for Mac from friends.
