Both, I guess? Although the "game" part is only really walking around. Didn't get much further with this project. Very unfinished.

If you ever figure out how to make all the mechanics work like the HP system and real time battles would you ever consider releasing the scripts as like a Zelda engine?

Check out 'Zelda Classic'. That's what I was building this in. It IS a Zelda engine - a super robust one at that. It's been in development for over a decade now so the current feature set is pretty daunting for newbies, but if you learn the basics first you'll be fine. Already quite a few solid fan-games (called "quests" in the community) out there. Head over to PureZC and check it out.

have you done rom hacking? You look like you got the skill to do a redrawn version of Zelda games especially the gameboy ones.Β You certainly have the material to do the spriting. I guess all you'd
