INFO ABOUT THE ANIMAL:
Name: Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae)
Location: Sumatra
Size: 1,8 m long body + 0,8 m tail, 0,9 m high weight: 180 kg
Diet: deers, boars, elks, birds, tapirs
Conservation status: Critically Endangered
Interesting facts: Sumatran tigers do not live in groups. Every tiger has its own territory and cats meet only to mate. Only female then take care of 2-4 kittens. Father does not look after his babies. Other males can kill the cubs, so mother must be very careful and she looks for her cubs until they are 2 years old | Sumatran tiger is the smallestt of all tiger subspecies | there are only some 400 - 600 Sumatran tigers living in the wild | Sumatran tigers swim very well and fast | they are threatened by hunters who kill them for their amazing wonderful fur

Wow. This is stunning. I wish I could get a shot like this. Every weekend I go to the zoo, and always race to the tigers, as they are the most wonderful animals. I never get a great shot, and will never get a shot as good as this. This is beautiful.
Just a quick question, are you in the enclosure or taking this through glass? I take my tiger photos through glass, and I want to see what you do, so I can try and get a shot as good as this.

this was taken through glass - only tip I can give you, is to wear black clothes when you visit ZOOs and to use yourself to create a shadow
