INFO ABOUT THE ANIMAL:
Name: Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae)
Location: Sumatra
Size: 1,8 m long body + 0,8 m tail, 0,9 m high weight: 180 kg
Diet: deers, boars, elks, birds, tapirs
Conservation status: Critically Endangered
Interesting facts: Sumatran tigers do not live in groups. Every tiger has its own territory and cats meet only to mate. Only female then take care of 2-4 kittens. Father does not look after his babies. Other males can kill the cubs, so mother must be very careful and she looks for her cubs until they are 2 years old | Sumatran tiger is the smallestt of all tiger subspecies | there are only some 400 - 600 Sumatran tigers living in the wild | Sumatran tigers swim very well and fast | they are threatened by hunters who kill them for their amazing wonderful fur

Amazing! and I never knew this type of tiger didn't live in groups and only met others of its kind to mate. Which... I feel sort of bad for the female because the male just doesn't take care of the cubs, plus the male killing others' cubs. That's just... sad.
