Polar / arctic fox (alopex lagopus, liska polarni, pesec) from ZOO Brno, Czech republic
Polar foxes (pair) in ZOO Brno have a new home!
it is a nice enclosure and although there is double fence, it is in fact more photographer-friendly than previous exhibit foxes seemed to be very happy there 
and the title is a little game with words - the fox seems to be plotting something evil and "plot" is a Czech word for a "fence" __________________

INFO ABOUT THE ANIMAL:
Name: polar/arctic fox (alopex lagopus)
Location: north of Eurasia, North America, Greenland
Size: 67 cm long body, 30 cm high, 40 cm long tail weight: 5 - 9 kg
Diet: lemmings, Arctic Hare, eggs, and carrion, but polar foxes eat also birds, baby seals and fish. Foxes are able to hide their prey to find and eat it later.
Conservation status: Least Concern (only population in Scandinavia is endangered)
Interesting facts: polar foxes change their fur. They are white in winter, but then start to lose their fluffy white coat. In summer, they are dark grey and much less fluffy | because they live in cold weather, their snouts and ears are very short | polar foxes tend to form monogamous pairs in breeding season. Females give birth to 4-8 pups and both parents take care of the babies | some foxes are called ,,blue foxes“ due special colour or their coat | polar foxes are able to survive temperature – 80°C! | polar foxes often follow polar bears to eat rest of bear’s prey | polar foxes have thick fur even on their paws – that’s why they can walk on ice

môžem sa spýtať kam ich presťahovali? chcela by som sa ísť niekedy v priebehu mesiaca pozrieť do brna, tak aby som ich nemusela dlho hľadať

akurát bude treba stále používať tú ilegálnu skratku - na obiehanie celej beringie som moc lenivá
a presťahovaná je tá skupina, ktorá bola smerom k rysom? tá druhá skupina vedľa uškatcov (v tej "jame") ostala na mieste?

jj, lišky jsou stále vedle lachtanů, přestěhovali pár od rysů
Hm, nedivím se, že ji používáš, ale já to nedělám. ZOO mě štve. Včera jsem fotila a vlci najednou seběhli dolů a začali si hrát - já to nemohla vyfotit, protože než bych tam oklikou došla, trvalo by mi to 5 minut a vlci už by byli pryč.
Je to nanic. Ta ZOO je čím dál více user-unfriendly

ja viem, nemala by som tadiaľ behať, ale šetrí hafo času a keď mám na zoo dve - tri hodiny a dostanem sa tam tak 3X do roka, tak sa ho snažím využiť na maximum ...
je škoda, že tam nespravia oficiálnu skratku ... pred asi pol rokom mali na stránkach taký dotazník spokojnosti, tak som im napísala, že by to bolo fajn - aby o tom aspoň vedeli ... dúfam, že s tým časom niečo spravia ...

já sem jim to tam taky napsala. Taky tam ale měli kolonku, že hledají lidi pro spolupráci, že máš nechat kontakt a oni se Ti ozvou. Napsala jsem jim - myslíš, že se ozvali?
A tu cestu prý udělají někdy v budoucnosti. Nechápu to. Proč, SAKRA, dělají tu ZOO pro návštěvníky horší a horší? Jako kdyby nestačil ten příšerný kopec, co tam je...

no trochu praktičnosti by im fakt neuškodilo
ale tak v brne to nie je tak zlé ako tu (u Vás sa aspoň buduje) - prejsť tie dve odľahlé časti zaberie veľa času, ani sa nedivím, že tam návštevníci moc nechodia (nehovoriac o tom ako to tam vyzerá
