yeah i have it on DVD and the soundtrack i got aswell (me love soundtracks)
it's just sad that the seconed part never made it over the big lake to europe...
i so hoped they'd dig it out of it's grave in some old moviedepot when all were high on LotR when the trilogy was in the theaters...but i had no such luck

lol
but that dvd should be available anywhere and they give it away quite cheap too (probably 'cause it's an old movie) the dvd was just 10 bugs
isn't it available in the us? sorry if i sound cheap i'd send it to you, but sending stuff over seas from here is quite expensive...sending to the us from here is about 16 euro = about 20 us dollar...and that does not include savety one has to pay extra for that...
besides my DVD is in germain (it has the english version on it though) but i guess the menue would still be a bit hard to get through...

Nah u don't sound cheap,I know what a hassel it can be to send nething thru the mail,I send trading cards back and forth to my friend in Oklahoma and it has become an expensive venture, and thats just in the states lol,it's prolly an aram AND BOTH legs just to send something and make sure it gets there its cool tho,I use to live in Germany way back in 1991,millitary family and all,my mother knows german so I think I could navigate the DvD but u keep urs I'll find one,u can find NETHING on E-bay and thats no lie lol

Oooooo I luv british english, the person speacking it sounds, well, educated Yeah living ingermany was the only perk to living in a millitary life, other then that it sucked, moving every 2-3 years is noway to spend a childhood, but ah I'm ok out of it
I'm not touched by the whole thing

Yeah moving really puts a strain on ur social life, I think in all we;ve moved at least more then 5 times, less the 12. You kinnda lose track, but in all those move I can count off the few friends I'm still in contact with on one hand, but I'm glad I still know them life would never be the same without them.
As for my dads rank,I never really ask and he never really tells,to be blunt I've grown to dislike this life style,I was forced into it and had no say in the matter.Don't get me wrong I support our troops and all,but this is not they way I wanna live if I have a choice,I'm not gonna put my kids thru what I went thru. They've already got a hard path before them,I don't wanna make it ne harder.
But I think he's like and E-6 Staff Sargent.....Don't ask me what he does or what the rank means LoL cuz I wont know

hm...must be hard never to stay in one place more than 3 years or so...but it's good you still have a few good friends to keep in touch with, my best friends are lifing in 2 different towns as well and we hardly see each other more than maybe 2 times a year now but when we do it's as if we just parted yesterday
...well...maybe that's because we "see" each other quite often online too
i don't know too much about millitary things anyway so even if you told me about your dad i most likely wouldn't get it anyway
your kids wow...talk about thinking ahead

Yeah hehe it's funny u and me kinda run the same with our friends,I talk with my friends on the phone all the time and when we see one another face to face, it was like we just saw each other yesterday and the kids thing,my childhood was messed up,not as bad as some that are out there, but I know that pain to well,so IF and when I have kids (prolly when I'm bout 30 or so
) I won't put them thru what I went thru

very well said! i don't know if or when i'm having kids...because nower days you really have to plan and all if you have the time or money needed to bring up a child and i don't just want a child just to have one. i want the whole family-thing so before i start thinking about a child i think about geting "Mr. Right" everything that comes after that....well comes after that
