A little something for the upcoming Desucon.Honestly, there's only one thing I can say about Joltik, and that's how ridiculously adorable the thing is. I mean honestly, I don't think there has ever been a bug that'd be that cute.
Too bad I already had Zebstrika in my team in White when I bumped into these things in the games, otherwise I would have taken it to the team for sure, but I've decided that someday, when I get around to restart my adventure in the game, I will catch one of these to my team. I mean, just look at it! Doesn't it make you squee too? (Plus it's the smallest Pokémon ever, just ten centimeters tall to add to the cuteness meter.)

I never caught a blitzle so I could use a joltik as my electric type

Sure, I knew the new 'mons before the games came out, I had been stalking Serebii.net ever since they released the first silhouettes. ^^ I just didn't have favourites. Blitzle was the first elecrtic type I came across (I'm kinda "gotta catch 'em all" type, if I see something for the first time, I'll try to catch it), and by the time I got to the spidey cave, I was already so attached to him that I couldn't change him away.
I got a chance to try out Joltik later, after passing the game. I was hunting for the legendary trio, the first of which was located in a dark cave and I needed something to teach Flash to (too lazy to stand the darkness) and I sure like it.
