As of Voltron Season 03, I think I have a new favourite space elf...Oh yeah, and apparently we're back to the whole "paladins are colonial marines " thing.
I don't know why Acxa's hanging out with Team Voltron here, but she's portrayed as bright enough to co-operate with them if need be. Either that, or Lotor pissed her off (in either sense of the phrase).

Just about finished with Season Four of the new series. Really enjoying it. Some tomfoolery mixed in with the serious stuff. Now I realize that this lady was Lotor's right hand Galran.
Did love the scene in 'Black Site' where Hunk introduces Allura and Coran to milkshakes, and how they tried to talk the cow into giving them some. Then Lance comes along to show them how to do it. Love the animation of their stark terror over the whole thing! Reminded my of my grandfather and how he milked up to 40 head of cows a day, and with only one arm!
Was glad that Pidge finally got to meet up with her brother and father! And Keith meeting his mother!
Now I got two more disks to sit through and I'll be done!

Also enjoyed the event where Keith finally meets his mother. Surprised he didn't have some specific feature of her in his makeup, such as the pointed ears, or different eye color.

At a guess I'd say he didn't get any Galra features so they could hide his heritage for the first parts of the show.

Seriously though, I'm quite curious to see what they do with the remaining Generals now, and especially Acxa.

Both, actually as redemption and working with the enemy is the only way to survive plus I am well aware that this pic is a reference to Aliens. I do hope that Acxa's "only one option" part is actually turning against Zarkon and siding with the Coalition, given that I think Acxa stunned Lotor not because she was going to have him used as a bargain chip for Zarkon in exchange for a pardon, given that he killed Narti but because she didn't want him to be exposed to the Quintessence like his parents, given that their exposure is what caused them to become evil in the first place.

Ditto, either the full Lotor squad, or even just Acxa. I've not quite worked out what young Commodus... uhh... I mean young Lotor's game is just yet (I mean, is he trying to actually prop up his father? Or is he ultimately looking to usurp and, if so, to what ends?), so I shall be curious to see what happens.

To be honest I kinda want Acxa to turn good partly because I'm a sucker for redemptions but mostly because I think she would be one of the vehitron pilots

Yeah, I'll be curious to see where they take Acxa, I'm hoping the first mini team-up, and her reaction to Lotor's saying she had failed, were not for nothing. She seems to come across as the most sensible of the four generals, and she is obviously buying whatever it is Lotor is currently selling. I can't but help wonder what would happen were something to shake her faith in that.

Huh, I keep forgetting there's a new Volton show... may get into it once I'm finished watching all of Tailspin. I'm on a bit of a nostalgia run atm.
Really nice work, mate. One thing really stands out to me here too are the character faces. Is your style changing? I feel the ladies here show a more mature/realistic style with smaller eyes compared to your norm, and I really like it! As always your shading/lighting/colour is awesome, really brings out the atmosphere of the piece.

It's pretty good, definitely worth a watch (and oh man, I haven't seen Tailspin in ages!).
Yeah, they did wind up turning out a bit more mature looking. I can probably put that down to two things: first being that they actually are a bit more mature (years wise at least; I'm pretty certain no-one is older than Monty mentally... or more jaded) than my standard character roster, Katherine and possibly Nat accepted, the other is that I was deliberately trying to mimic the show models a bit in my own style so as to keep the characters recognisable. That said, I'm pretty happy with the result so have made a mental note as to how it was done.

Yeah I really liked Season 03, in general, and Acxa is indeed awesome. Do wish they had not broken it up into two cours, however, and just run all 13 episodes as the season kind of floundered a bit with the last few episodes.
Speaking of "Aliens", I saw "Alien: Covenant" today. Kind of wish I hadn't. >_<

It did feel a little short breaking up what would normally be a single cour into two. Part of me is hoping that means they decided they needed another few episodes at the end to get the story out so delayed the second half release, but I'm not holding my breath.
I've not seen Covenant yet. TBH, after "Alien vs. Predator" I pretty much lost interest in anything after the first two movies.
