Hey, this is Ivan (or Ivar, not sure) from R.A. Salvatore's books.
Lockwood is truly one of my favorite fantasy artists, and it's a wise thing to draw inspiration from his outstanding works. Did you check his Transitions collection? It's a must have for reference (and the basic "FยคCK THIS GUY IS AWESOME *drools over page* mood).
Check out the dwarf I just posted if you have the time.

indeed you didn't, but you still did a realy great job! ^_^ i love it, and it's clear enough to recongnize teh character, and which book cover from, etcetera without a problem.
