Here are some quick sketches of the Huntress I did while anxiously waiting for the script (minutes after I was told that I’ll be pencilling the Huntress pages for the DCU Holiday Special 2009 then). I thought it would be best to do this while waiting for the email so there’d be no wasted time. And besides, I’ve never tried drawing the Huntress before, and this sketch made me realize how complicated her costume is. There’s just a lot of things going on, and I saw some elements that seem to be off, like those “little-boomerangish” cape clasps on her collarbone. I decided to do what Dustin Nguyen does, which is to do without it. “Try to make her more Italian” is something I think I failed at, though.Hope you like it!
