Step 3)
The trolls and hackers seed imagesharing sites with a virus that automatically recaptions generic hipster photos (see [link] ).
Step 4)
For the piece de resistance, we get Apple and Starbucks embroiled in a legal battle so that Starbucks' Wifi won't support Macs, and they'll have to choose either their overpriced coffee or their overpriced laptops.
See, this is MUCH crueler than just shooting them.

I'll give you fair opposition in that venue. I think it is right for hipsters to be hipsters if they want to, and I want them to if they want to.
Basic morals: People can do what they wish as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. Hipsters are only a slight nusiance compared to mass murderers.

Being close minded is foolish, so people retaliate with "be openminded" and end in another kind of foolishness.
In principle there are hard and fast mathematical laws for what exactly you are allowed to believe given what evidence, sensory impressions and previous experience you have. If you do not abide by those laws exactly you can either end up believing inaccurate, useless things. or a clever fraudster can steal all your money. These principles are called Bayesian Probability Theory and are closely associated with Rational Thought.

Oh, cynicism is such and ugly word. If you knew me better you would know that such labels hardly apply.
I just look harder and realise reality can at any time kill anyone for no reason. That is merely an uncomfortable truth, you cannot argue with reality.
And then in the same breath I set out to save the world.
To use a metaphor: To heal a wound you must stop the damage from propagating. To know how to stop the damage, you need to study a lot of nasty injuries.
