A friend requested I do an actually-maybe-useful-perhaps "tutorial" on expressions so this exists now.

I'm not the best at expressions all of the time, but lazy expressions are always something in art that annoys me. Like, people don't consider the difference between a smile that means "I'm happy!" and a smile that means "You're fuckin dead, kiddo!" And I know we all love drawing the exact same curvy, relaxed smile with upturned eyebrows to show anxiety, and I know we all love a smile with furrowed brows to show a character is xXxEvUlxXx but it's not really gonna make your character seem more emotive.
Idk, not much to say here given this thing is a wall of text to begin with. Oh yeah, this also works best for people who already understand how to construct a character's face and uhhhh people who are willing to sacrifice a little bit of Perfect Pretty Face to make their character emote a little clearer.
