Way to make me hungry....I've recently eaten at a korean-japanese restaurant and ate crushed ice with red beans, now THAT was something yummy.

Well a suggestions here: Since this is a speed painting work I recommend creating custom brush for the rice.
Strokes will do to depicts the rice but a custom brush for it will help to speed up the rendering while looking details.
Unless you wanted to practice with default brushes which I sometimes do.
