Page 1 of 3 of a short comic from my series Gamin Grounds. The whole story itself is really.. large, and I haven't figured out most of it yet. This scene is a small snippet from their life.I drew the outlines in Photoshop 6, colours were in Painter 6.

corned beef is actually damn expensive in singapore nya Oo"" compared to all the other canned stuff... it cost like... 3 bucks or something per can but something like campbells soup costs 1 - 2 bucks XD weird aint it? i never understood why~
anywayz, i like the earthy evening feel of the comic X3 it has a tired and slightly sian feeling to it... kinda what ur main character looks like XD I like his face very much XD cute~ The pacing is good. direct and not too fast so we can soak in the story X3 the 3rd panel looked like it was fun to draw/paint. X3 love the way u drew the ladle and mess tin (is that wat they call it?)
only thing i would like to see more of is probably background. it would be good if we had more information on where they all are, what kinda place they're in. i feel it would help bring us closer to the story.
X3 can't wait to see the rest of the pages nya! Go Wratty!

Ah, glad you like it! ^^ You know, before you pointed it out to me I didn't realise that there isn't a single background element in the first page at all!!! O__O;;; oh dear! Man, I'll have to remember it for next time..

awesome. X3 I love the palette especially. It's like a faded memory, where the only thing that snaps into clear focus is the recollection of that pile of unidentifiable swill.
Love the expressions. And I'm really partial to the first panel, with the lineup and all the different boys. so cute. ; 3 ;
