Link's always been left handed until the Wii games came out. I suppose I'm basing this Twilight Princess Link on the Gamecube version xD

He only turned right handed because of the programming for the players. The majority of them aren't left handed, so to get it wii remote right, they had to switch his hands. Got me a little annoyed, but I understood why they did it.
