This is a cute little moment captured during last years potato harvest...<3Harvesting Potatoes is one of the community jobs where EVERYONE helps out. All the men women and children help gather the potatoes that we grow to last us year round.

Thank you so much! when I started out with digital art a year ago, I drew backgrounds that were a solid colour or geometric shapes, instead of an actual scene.
But then I saw an artist talking about how, many artists feared drawing backgrounds, and realized maybe I was afraid of them! this person said to just draw one, and you'd be surprised how much easier it'll be next time. So I drew Lunar song , and honestly, I was shocked by how easy it was to draw backgrounds, after that one!

You're welcome ^^ and oh I feel you, I only used a soft airbrush to color the background and call it a "background" xD
And that artist is right! I'm not sure if I'm afraid but I sure am pretty lazy xD I also like how you first attempt look amazing!! I need to stop my lazyness and work on backgrounds more too, since that's what I need after improving overall humans drawings ^^

Yeah, in the beginning, backgrounds feel like doing "extra" but now, it's really just another step in the process.

I like this a lot. The blue-yellow limited palette works well and the characters seem in balance and plausible. I bet that kid is having fun getting a ride.
