Description
Through the day the legion battled, and when night fell, only one guardian was left standing against the onslaught. The enemies smelled victory, but they could not know the might of the final guardian.....Had this one in my head for a while. I wanted to keep the background very simple and desolate. Suprisingly, its one of those pieces that actually came out like I envisioned it. Dedicated to *Fat-Turkey for her birthday. About 16 hours of work, in Poser and then Photoshop. Alot of repainting.

Thanks. I was looking at artwork of alot of artists I admired and I noticed that most of them had very scant backgrounds compared to what I do. I wanted to give it a shot. A couple people made a cool suggestion of tattered war banners in the mist behind her. Probably would be great, I'm just too lazy to go back to it.
