Circine stumbled through the forest. She had been feeling strange since the Holiday Parade where she had gotten bitten by one of the reindeer. She found her way to a clearing, the night sky open wide above her as the thick snow below seemed to glow in the moonlight. She fell to her knees, a sudden burning pain rushing over her body, her flesh felt like it was on fire as tiny needles pushed into it. She grunted, doubling over onto all fours. Her clothes felt so uncomfortable, despite the snow all around her she felt hot. She barely managed to undo her jacket's buttons as her belly bulged and barreled out. She puffed, a steamy cloud escaping her flared and stretching nostrils.

What was happening to her? Why couldn't she stand?

Her ears twitched as she sensed a presence approaching from the woods. She turned and saw a large stag slowly approaching her, cautious as he studied the warping creature. Circine felt something welling up inside as her clothes began tearing away. Her tail lifted at the approach of the strong male.

Her memory faded out... Unaware that the next three days she would spend as a wild reindeer and every month as long as she is cursed to remain a WereReindeer.
