It had been almost two weeks since Rosemary had donated the doll and started searching for her. The convenient spellbook opened to the page about doll possession and inanimate animation had been inconveniently buried under some discarded clothes. Rosemary had dealt with this before, Angela got herself into this sort of thing all the time, but this might have been the longest she'd been stuck in a form not her own. Even the book mentioned how staying in the doll for too long could have a lasting effect on the caster's mentality and their self-image.

In a thrift shop, one of the locations where donations get sorted out to, standing on a toy shelf, a little plastic doll stood. It's skin was a creamy peach color and it's eyes were a sparkly blue. It was a perfect little blonde dolly, save for one little flaw; a few strands of brown hair hidden among the golden tresses. However, as luck would have it, those brown strands seemed to be lightening up, soon it'd fit in with the other branded Dolly's on Sale.
