8. 'Funny Hunny' Honey

It started as a low hum after he had some the honey on his toast for breakfast. It wasn’t anything too obnoxious, it was low and easily ignored, but still it was persistent. As the day wore on, the boy had trouble concentrating, he would occasionally spend a few minutes searching for the source of the buzzing but to no avail. He shrugged it off, vowing to find it later and put on some music to drown it out. The day grew on and with it came more buzzzing. It was without change, ever a single note, a single vibration, only growing louder as the day ran on.

Soon, he had grown accustomed to the sound. He didn’t enjoy it, and he couldn’t ignore it, but it didn’t bother him the same as it had before. He found himself stopping and listening to it for minutes at a time... soon an hour... he felt a pressure building in his head and his back itched oddly. Soon there was little else she could do but listen to the buzzing nonstop. She found herself outside, how she had gotten there lost to her as she was only wearing a shirt... an oversized one at that... the buzzing continued, but this time it sounded more like a calling... a pleading... a beacon... there was a flittering behind her back and her antennae twitched, eyes transfixed towards the distance where the buzzing was calling her to. She felt herself lift from her shirt, smaller now, and curiously flitted away to join the buzzing chorus herself.
