Captain America had been on the trail of this ‘Baroness’ for days. In her wake she left so many of his teammates missing, incapacitated, or lost to some unknown delusions? He rubbed his head, memories of some of the team seemed fuzzy or altered somehow. Was it hypnosis? Some sort of mass suggestion or... it didn’t really matter, Captain knew things weren’t right and he would get to the bottom of it and end it.

His search had lead him to some sort of concert, or music festival? He wasn’t sure. The music sounded strange, sort of like computers having a heated debate while falling down stairs... but that was more due to modern music not making much sense to him. He used to pride himself on his music tastes, enjoying the newest vinyls... or classics as they were now called... he blinked as he bumped into something.

”oh, I’m sorry Miss,” he apologized politely to a brunette teen in a red bikini. She looked up at him and smiled, eyes glinting under her red and gold shades,

”hey, no problem cutie. Never an issue when a hunk runs into me, as long as he promises to do it again,” she lowered her sunglasses and winked. Cap raised an eyebrow, the girl was a bit too young for that... wasn’t she? Though something about her forward flirtatious nature seemed familiar... and her necklace... and...

”Excuse me Miss, aren’t you a bit too young to be drinking?” He noted her beer bottle. She pouted her lips,

“aren’t you a bit too not my dad to try and tell me what to do,” the brat stuck out her tongue before taking a long sip of her beer, not breaking eye contact. Cap wanted to say more... but the strange sense of deja vu still lingered in the back of his head. He had more important things to do right now... though once he was done, he’d certainly be giving that girl a long talking to.

He walked passed just as another girl walked up and leaned close to the teen, “Hey Toni, wasn’t that guy Captain America?”

”Yeah,Petra, the old guy was TOTES all over me, pretty cute actually... though he looked less muscular than he does on tv,” the two teens giggled as the Patriotic hero continued his search for the Baroness.

As Steve continued to search through the crowds, he couldn’t shake the feeling something was off. He would catch himself stopped and watching the band, or his eyes would linger on some cute girls in the crowd... he blushed, hardly appropriate for a hero to stare at young women dancing... but it wasn’t for an inappropriate or weird reason... he was just curious where they had gotten their cute festival outfits from... though... as he ran his hand through his long blonde hair... she couldn’t help but feel something wasn’t right. She continued searching, keeping her eyes peeled for... for... her friend? No, she was looking for... uhm... someone who- OOF!

She stumbled back a bit, feeling like she had walked into a brick wall or something. She looked up and blushed to see she had run into a rather large guy... really muscular... cute green eyes... and... and spilled beer on his shirt! “Oh jeez, I’m so so so sorry!” She squeaked reaching into the little pockets of her barely there denim cutoffs. “I was, like, totes just spacing out and listening to the music,” she pulled out some small napkins and started futilily dabbing at the beer. The guy chuckled and took a step back.

”Hey, no worries, it’s cool,” he pulled off his shirt as the teen girl blushed bright red at his cut figure. “What’s your name, by the way?”

”....huh? OH! Uhm... Ste-Stephanie.... I totally know my name... didn’t forget it...” she giggled ditzily as she twirled her blonde hair. “Uhm, sorry, right, this is much first concert and I guess I’m just SO excited I wasn’t paying attention and... and I totally said that already, but you knew that and...”

”Want to dance, Stephanie?” The guy chuckled a bit at the cute flustered girl.

”Yes please,” she giggled, biting her lip as the guy put an arm around her shoulders and guided her closer to the music. Stephanie couldn’t remember what she was so intent on doing earlier... something about finding a friend or something... but she was sure having a little fun wouldn’t hurt... she would get right back to it later... maybe... if she wasn’t TOO busy with her new friend.
