Adam's Comments: And there we go; Laveau and Cruel Summer are now out of the running! Heroes really are doing a great job rallying here; especially Sonia channeling her inner Suzumiya Haruhi with her incredible dynamic entry!

Love the behind-the-back-trick-shot there. The way she has her cybernetic eye open makes me think she's calculating trajectory based on shadows or something, even though she's not directly looking at her target. Plus Mercury taking charge to KO Cruel Summer immediately after just because she hurt his BFF.

Really like Martin's idea of having the kids call Protocol "Dr. Phoebe." Think I'll need to pick that up; it's very sweet and childish. Plus I honestly feel a bit guilty she gets called by her codename SO much.

Martin's Comments: Admittedly this one maybe wound up a bit rough in places but it was kind of a super last minute scramble, we only really wrapped it up with like two minutes left to spare. Kind of just an awkwardly timed day all around that put us consistently on the backfoot.

Do like how it came out on the whole though, like getting to show Steven and Sonia working in tandem and getting results. Kind of rapidly shifted the pace of the battle here, even if Protocol isn't doing great. Do like showing that even being staggered and coughing she still has enough situational awareness to recognize an opportunity to land a big hit though.

Funny enough as he was working on this one Adam mentioned he was glad for the break from drawing Cruel Summer. Do like how her design came out but it is a bit busy, not helped by how we're usually seeing two of her in each panel.
