Description
Kaiser used to be a police dog until a certain disastrous event that fuels the comic occurred. His scars were obtained from fighting with other dogs to survive. He's still a good weight because of his size and how good he is at whoopin' doggy butt. He dun' take shit.Even though he acts like a total badass loner, he really misses his owner. :<
Oh, and notice how his back doesn't slope down too much. P:

He looks fantastic love black shepherds, looks more like the working type GSD or straight back line which the army and police force generally use, I have a comic centering on police K-9's and the majoity of them are the straight backed working line.

Yesss, fellow straight back lover! I really prefer that line over the sloped backs in the show ring. Show lines have narrower chests too and just end up looking like a different dog. e_e

Their generally a lot healthier breed because most of their weight isn't on their hind legs, some GSD show breeds I have seen have been practically crippled. I remember when my border collie Jess was a pup, (now 14 years old) a 2 year old GSD with chronic hip diplaysia as he walked his hips practically popped out of joint and he almost fell over, another one I know about is 4 years old and has already had to have the correcting procedure.
It is amazing how much the breed has changed in 50 years,the back was practically straight then but now sometimes I think that they would not be able to carry out the work they were designed to do.
I have gone for the straight back in my drawings because nearly all policedogs are the straight backed variety. It is a shame that not many breeders breed straight backs,as the working line is often deemed to demanding for the average owner.

He's not typical German Sheperd. But not all breeds of German Sheperds have that sloped back. Well done! He's gorgeous!

Thanks. <33 I figured since Jace inherited that sloped back from his German Shepherd mother, I'd make Kaiser a GSD without the sloped back. 'Cause yup, not all of them have sloped backs. n_n

He was imported from Germany from German bloodlines when he was a puppy especially for being a police dog. :3
