Hello e-World

The dude with the cell phone is a character I made up named Keeve.

Before Christmas I wanted to do some art. In particular, I wanted to make a nice picture of my sister to give to her. I looked online, found some information about how to do drawings and I started work with Inkscape and vector drawing.

That did not turn out too well. I always wondered how people do drawings on the computer (myself, being a 3d modeler for 5 years) since the mouse is sooo hard to use for straight lines.

Then I read about graphics tablets, bought myself a graphics tablet for myself over new years (on sale!) and have been working on it since.

One thing, I am not a good drawer. I was never good at drawing. Well, ok, I was near the front of the pack when it came to grade 9 art, but overall, the tablet helps. I can draw lines, erase, draw, erase, draw, like the line and draw more lines and erase over and over until it looks good. Or I write the compete works of Shakespeare; whichever comes first.
