You were keeping her safe and sound,
by keeping us on the ground.
That's what it was, wasn't it?
You didn't think she could take the hit.
Neither could you, though.
I understand it, so.
My apology. For everything.
For the childish way I was acting.
I'm sorry for the hell you've gone through.
All over a simple question I asked you.
I should've waited, or forgotten it all together.
I always said I'd wait forever.
So I jumped the gun, and it seems like I lied.
And for that your mother cried.
