Description
She smiled at me, while I melted inside.
God, when she smiled, I coulda died.
She floored me, and confused me.
And I can't really see
What mystical hold
this girl had on me.

The fire in her eyes,
That spelled our demise
As the hands I held
Oh, more than compelled
Me against my sanity
And my façade, I've so long upheld.

And the face I gaze upon,
Compels what I can't act on.
But with the light behind her face
And feeling everything falling in place
I knew this is what was meant to be
I felt as though, I won my race.

I know the path I'm heading down.
And the fire that will soon surround.
But, I'd love to bask in defeat.
I don't care, though, because I'm complete.
I found my reason.
My reason's because her face is so sweet.
