I love this. You are so in touch with the woman's feelings. I'm going through something like this right now, and you really nailed it on the head. The lonliness and insecurity is almost as bad as the waiting. And like the impression I got from the woman in the story, I too, would wait forever for him to finally see what's been standing right in front of him.
